Favorite Team

I would like to know how is your favorite team.On my blog post how is your favorite team. The result will be on May 1st.

    My favorite team is the Washington Nationals. The reason for this is that when I was a young boy, the team that I lived near was the Washington Senators. They didn’t have a team from 1971 until 2005 so I really missed them.

    In between 1971 and 2005, I followed some teams off and on, most notably the Chicago Cubs for awhle.

    Now, in addition to the Nationals which was is my favorite team, I also like the Red Sox and the Mets (except when they are playing the Nationals of course).

    Well it used to be the Brooklyn Dodgers. Now I root for the NY Yankess so I can tease you and your Dad.

    I’m a Yankees fan, but not until the NY Rangers finish hockey season. All my attention is on them at the moment.

    I would have to say that my favorite team is the New York Mets but if they dont make it to the Word Series this year I might have to start rooting for the Pirates.

    I’m with Grammy there - since there are no Brooklyn Dodgers, I’ll have to go with the Yankees. I used to like the Red Sox when I lived in Boston, but they lost ALL THE TIME.

    Of course, that was a long time ago…

    I was a Red Sox fan first — that was the year Carl Yastrzemski won the Triple Crown and the Sox lost in World Series. Then I became a Mets fan for many, many years, but, once Derek Jeter became a Yankee, I became a Yankees fan. I don’t think I’ll ever be a Pirates fan (sorry, Janice).

    I’m not a big baseball fan, so I’ll say the Red Soxs :-)
